I'm pleased to announce that I will be returning to the Pelham Art Festival this May!

The 37th Annual Pelham Art Festival Show and Sale will be taking place on May 10, 11 and 12 at the Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill, and will showcase pieces by over 80 contemporary visual artists and artisans. The festival will also feature live music and food.

When I attended the Pelham Art Festival last year, it was my first time ever participating in an art festival and I had an amazing time and learned a lot - I'm looking forward to enjoying another weekend of art with other artists and art lovers!

2024 Colour and Form Society Members Exhibition

From March 5 to March 23, 2024, the Colour and Form Society held their annual Members Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC). The show took place in the Art Space Connect gallery, and featured artworks by CFS members.

SWARM 2023

From December 1, 2023 to January 13 2024, Hamilton Artists Inc. held it's annual members exhibition, SWARM. This yearly exhibition has been showcasing original artworks by members of The Inc. since 1975.

This year, my piece Microburst was featured along with work by ~80 other local artists.

Art at the Pumphouse August 5-6

On the weekend of August 5 & 6, from 10am to 5pm, I was at Art at the Pumphouse outdoor festival with my artwork.

Located at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre at 247 Ricardo Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Art at the Pumphouse featured original artwork available for purchase by many local artists & artisans onsite outdoors surrounded by riverside scenery. Additional one-of-a-kind pieces were on display and available for sale indoors in the galleries.

Talented musicians including the duo Steve Goldberger & Andrew Aldridge, The NOTL Ukesters, and more local talents provided musical entertainment from the stage in the rose garden.

It was such a beautiful location! My tent was close to the water so I got to enjoy a gorgeous view and breeze. I brought a portable easel to paint in my booth, and enjoyed chatting with lots of art lovers.

CFS New Members 2022-2023 Exhibition

From July 5th to 29th, two of my pieces were on display at Steve Wilson Studios & The Gallery along with artwork by other newly elected members of the Colour and Form Society.

The closing reception took place on the 29th at Steve Wilson Studios & The Gallery, located at 4452 Queen Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The exhibition featured work by myself, as well as other new members Judy Blue Anderson, Raquel Aurini, Heidi Berger, Kevin Budd, Nicole Dolson, Catharina Goldnay, Cheryl-Ann Hills, Win Kuplowsky, Karen Logan, Janine Minor, Manuela Moldovan, Katherine Percival, Sheryl Sharpiro, Carol Walthers and Megan Ward along with regular Steve Wilson Studios gallery artists Cindy MacMillan, Amy Paquette, Gwen Tooth, John Cutruzzola, Kelly McNeil, Juanita Paulino and Steve Wilson.

36th Annual Pelham Art Festival

On the weekend of May 12-14, I attended and showed my artwork the Pelham Art Festival in Fonthill, Ontario. Over 80 artists were there showing their work, and the weekend featured live music and delicious food.

2023 Colour and Form Society Members' Exhibition

On Sunday, April 23rd, the Colour and Form Society held the opening reception of the 2023 Colour and Form Society Members' Exhibition at Neilson Park Creative Centre in Etobicoke. The show featured diverse artworks created by CFS members and was on display at the NPCC Art Space Connect Gallery until May 7th, 2023.

My piece 'Treasure' (top, centre) on display at Neilson Park Creative Centre with works by other members of the Colour and Form Society.

As a new member of the Colour and Form Society, I was thrilled to have one of my artworks, "Treasure", featured in the members exhibition. The reception was lovely and I enjoyed meeting some of the other artists and viewing beautiful pieces by other members.

Art in the Workplace 35

"Art in the Workplace (AWP) is a Hamilton based not-for-profit organization that creates opportunities for local artists to showcase their talents to the community in an unconventional setting. AWP holds local art exhibitions and tours in the Atrium at McMaster Innovation Park – a world-class centre for innovation and research, and a collaborative partner of our organization. AWP has three exhibitions a year, each lasting four months and featuring the work of over 100 local artists."

Florescence and Burst on display at the Atrium at MIP

In the 35th exhibition of Art in the Workplace, two of my paintings (Florescence and Burst) were displayed in the Atrium at McMaster Innovation Park. The exhibit ran from November 2022 to March 2023, and an opening gala was held on November 24th, featuring refreshments and live music.

ArtWorks Oakville 22nd Annual Juried Show

Impact 2022

From July 19 to August 5, 2022, Impact 2022, a juried group exhibition, was on display at Neilson Park Creative Centre's Art Space Connect and Parkview Galleries, and featured my painting, Burst.

Neilson Park Creative Centre is located at 56 Neilson Dr, Toronto, ON, and there was be a reception and awards ceremony held on July 21st from 7 - 9pm, which included a talk by juror Azadeh Pirazimian.

Polyvocal

Polyvocal, McMaster University BFA program's SUMMA exhibition of 2015, went on display in April at the McMaster Museum of Art. The show featured works by myself and twenty-one other artists as a culmination of our time in McMaster's Studio Art program.

Artists Talks took place on April 15th, and the opening Reception followed on April 18th.

Zeno's Paradox Group Show

This show was a group collaboration between the students in Sally McKay's 2015 Community Exhibitions course at McMaster University.

My work, Geminate, on display at the Spice Factory during Zeno's Paradox.

On March 6, Zeno's Paradox opened at The Spice Factory, featuring the work of myself and sixteen other student artists.

The event also featured live musical performances by
Thomas St. Clair and Raddleshack.

Hamilton Artists Inc.'s Award for Distinction in the McMaster Studio Art Program

From Feb 5th - 28th, the juried group exhibition Ignition 3, was on display at the Hamilton Artist Inc. Featuring works by myself, Cassandra Ferguson, Jin Lu, and Alana Petrella.
